Dr. Pinchinat is an excellent teacher. He challenged me to answer questions confidently, find the answer to clinical diagnoses, and set goals for me to achieve. He encouraged critical thinking and invited my knowledge in clinical psychiatry. He has a goal-oriented teaching style and is very knowledgable with translating abstract concepts in the clinical setting. He ensured that I was prepared to score well on my Psychiatry Shelf Exam, and I plan to use the skills learned throughout my career.

My clinical experience with Dr. PINCHINAT has been nothing short of exceptional. His passion for psychiatry is evident in every interaction, and his dedication to teaching truly inspired me. He created a supportive learning environment where I felt encouraged to ask questions, think critically, and grow both clinically and professionally. Dr. P, taught from experience, wisdom, and genuine care for his students and patients. Because of his mentorship, I gained a deeper understanding of psychiatric care and developed stronger clinical judgment and confidence. His staff in office is outstanding and very helpful, especially his office manger Ms. Yvette.
What stood out most was his ability to connect theory to real-world practice. He took the time to explain complex psychiatric concepts in a way that made them meaningful and applicable, which strengthened my clinical reasoning skills. His enthusiasm reignited and deepened my passion for psychiatry, and I now feel even more committed to pursuing this specialty. Dr. P, is not only an outstanding clinician but also an extraordinary educator who leaves a lasting impact on his students. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to learn from him, and this experience has been one of the most valuable parts of my clinical training. I suggest everyone looking for a good preceptor in psych to use his services.
Very informative. Every patient was a chance to learn. He always explained his thought process in treatment and brought up good patient cases to test you on clinical algorithms or diagnosis and treatment of negative outcomes. Very grateful to have been able to participate.

The class and schedule were very good and optimal for helping me study and learn for my shelf exam and for showing me the real life aspect of outpatient psychiatry.
The doctor provides with real relevant cases and examples for what was tested and what patients we will see in the future , most of the studying I did was from what Dr Pinchinat taught me during clinic I barely used outside resources.
The doctor keeps you in the loop for what he sees and discusses with you as you’re one of his residents and likes to pick your brain for differentials and medications and their mechanisms and adverse effects where you start to tie things in a systematic fashion : disease -> features-> treatment
-> adverse effects and helps for long term recall. Both offices were very friendly as well and nice made you feel part of their little group and very welcoming. Do not have any complaints
